The Ringers of Christ Church, Bundaberg, and St Paul's, Maryborough, Queensland, invite you to the 60th ANZAB Ringing Festival and AGM.
There will be ringing at both churches and on the LittleToze Mini Ring. The Mini Ring will move between the two cities as part of the program. Handbell ringing will be available throughout the Festival.
While we expect that most participants will be based in Bundaberg, the program will also work for participants who stay in Maryborough. For those staying in Bundaberg, there will be transport provided to Maryborough for ringing on the Saturday, returning to Bundaberg in time for the Festival Dinner. The AGM will be held in Bundaberg on the Sunday.
Pre- and post-Festival activities are being offered at Brisbane and South Brisbane.
The ANZAB 2021 Festival Committee
Plans are still in place to hold this year's ANZAB Ringing Festival and AGM in Bundaberg and Maryborough, Queensland, on the weekend of 11-14 June 2021. We are mindful that COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings and travel may be enforced suddenly, though we certainly hope that this will not be the case.
If you are planning to attend the Festival please consider the following advice.
For any travel or accommodation bookings make sure that you can get a refund or credit for a last minute cancellation, especially one due to COVID-19 restrictions being imposed.
Should the Festival be cancelled, ANZAB will be underwriting full refunds of Festival payments to anyone who has registered and paid before the "early bird" registration cut off date of Friday, 30 April. Those who register between 1 and 14 May and pay - may be eligible for at least a partial refund at ANZAB's discretion. Festival shirts, if produced prior to the cancellation, will form part of any refund and be posted to the registrant.

We are investigating the possibility of running ART courses before or after the festival in Bundaberg. These can include Module 1 (Teaching Handling) and Module 2C (Teaching Elementary Change Ringing). The courses are dependent on a minimum number of participants to proceed. You will be able to indicate interest via the registration form. Possible attendees are welcome to email in the meantime as this will help with forward planning.
More information about the courses and who should attend them is available here.
