Invitation

Calling all ANZAB Youth! This event is designed to bring young ringers together, offering opportunities for local young ringers to engage with other ANZAB Youth, and grow skills in plain hunt, methods, ringing up and down, and confidence in calling call changes.

This event will be from Tuesday afternoon 6th to Friday morning 9th October, aligning well with the Sydney Ringing School (2nd to 5th) and the Sydney 12-bell weekend (9th to 11th).

We are grateful to ANZAB for offering subsidies to enable young ringers to participate in the event. Reimbursement for related travel and accommodation is available as follows to ANZAB members and associate members attending the whole program.

  • Up to $220 for each under 18 year old
  • Up to $110 for each 18-24 year old, being no more than 50% of expenses
  • Up to $155 for each 25-29 year old, being no more than 25% of expenses

The success of the event depends on getting the right number of people. Goulburn's youth ringing squad currently numbers six. At least six additional youth are needed for the event to be viable. To help with planning and logistics, please contact before 10th September to express your interest.

Travel Information

Trains from Sydney to Goulburn must be booked in advance here.

Tuesday 6 October there are trains leaving Sydney Central Station at 7:11am and 7:40am. Both arrive in Goulburn time for 11:00am ringing.

Friday 9 October there is a train leaving Goulburn at 8:47am, arriving into Sydney in time to join the Friday afternoon 12-bell ringing program.
